Challenge Grant Prizes
The placement of the prize icons next to an organization’s name are constantly shifting depending on which nonprofits are presently in the lead for getting the most gifts by December 31st. Please be reminded that only one gift per donor, per organization will be counted for any of the challenge prizes.
Early Bird: The first 10 organizations to receive 20 unique gifts of $25 or more will receive grant prizes of $500.
First Place: A grant of $10,000 to the nonprofit with the highest number of donors making gifts of $25 or more.
Second Place: A grant of $7,500 to the nonprofit with the second highest number of donors making gifts of $25 or more.
Third Place: A grant of $5,000 to the nonprofit with the third highest number of donors making gifts of $25 or more.
Honorable Mention: Ten grants of $1,000 each to the nonprofits with the fourth through thirteenth highest number of donors making gifts of $25 or more.
KeyBank Foundation Leadership
: a grant of $1,000 each to the two (2) nonprofits with the highest number of donors making gifts of $100 or more.
Also eligible for First, Second and Third Place grants
Greatest Weekly Effort: The organization to receive the most unique gifts of $25 or more each week (ending at 5 p.m. every Monday, Dec. 10, 17, 24, & 31) will each receive a grant prize of $500. (Organizations can only win once.)
Midway Madness: The organization to receive the most unique gifts of $25 or more by 5 p.m. December 18th will receive a grant prize of $2,000.
Raising the Bar: From among those who give $50 or more, one donor will be randomly chosen and $1,500 will be added to their donation.
Greatest Improvement: $1,000 will be awarded to the organization that demonstrates the greatest improvement (in number of donations) from last year’s challenge. Eligible organizations must have received at least two donations in 2011.
Notable Newcomer: $1,000 will be awarded to an organization who receives the most unique gifts of $25 or more that did not receive more than one donation in 2011.
