2013 Housing Challenge Leaderboard
Below are the nonprofit participants and current rankings for challenge grants. Random Daily Drawing winners will be posted on Facebook and Twitter.
Challenge Grant Prizes
The placement of the prize icons are constantly shifting depending on which nonprofits are presently in the lead for getting the most gifts by December 31st. Please be reminded that only one gift per donor, per organization will be counted for any of the challenge prizes.
Early Bird: The first 6 organizations to receive 20 unique gifts of $25 or more will receive grant prizes of $500.
First Place: A grant of $10,000 to the nonprofit with the highest number of donors making gifts of $25 or more.
Second Place: A grant of $7,000 to the nonprofit with the second highest number of donors making gifts of $25 or more.
Third Place: A grant of $5,000 to the nonprofit with the third highest number of donors making gifts of $25 or more.
Honorable Mention: Five grants of $1,000 each to the nonprofits with the fourth through eighth highest number of donors making gifts of $25 or more.
$100+ Donor Drive: a grant of $1,000 to a nonprofit in each of the three regions with the highest number of donors making gifts of $100 or more.
Greatest Weekly Effort: The organization to receive the most unique gifts of $25 or more each week (ending at 5 p.m. every Monday, Dec. 16, 23, & 30) will each receive a grant prize of $1,000. (Organizations can only win once.)
Surpass the Past: The organization that receives the gift that pushes the campaign donation total over last year’s total of $53,014 will receive a grant prize of $500.
Random Daily Drawing: One donor will have $100 added to their donation daily during the campaign. Random drawing will be held each weekday around noon.
Benefactor Bonus: The first $50,000 in individual gifts of $5,000 to $10,000 will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $10,000 per gift).
Regional Match Funds
A minimum of $8,000 in each region (North, Southwest, and Southeast) will be distributed on a pro rata basis according to the total amount raised by each organization. If one organization receives 10% of the total amount donated in their region, it would receive 10% of their Regional Match Fund.
